In summer 2016 the time had come: in the showers of Harry’s Home Aparthotel in Linz the ECOTURBINO® water saving system was installed – fast and uncomplicated. This innovative Austrian invention significantly reduces water and energy consumption in hotels. It was also particularly important to the hotel operator that the showering comfort of his guests was not impaired in any way.
Today, a good year later, the hotel takes a more than positive balance: The ECOTURBINO® system has reduced showering water consumption by 36% – and thus 11% of total water consumption. The result: the costs of water and energy also dropped significantly. Positive effect: through this cost saving, the investment in ECOTURBINO® amortized within only eight months!
An Austrian invention – the solution for energy-efficient hotels
The ECOTURBINO® is an innovative Austrian invention, which significantly reduces the water and energy consumption during showering, without causing a loss of comfort: due to the strong turbulence of the water with admixture of air (Venturi principle), the water jet force is maintained.
