Innovative technology from Rabmer Group reduces operating costs in Ronald McDonald Children's Aid Homes by 35,000 euros
„Building a better World“: Unter diesem Motto werden in den fünf Häusern der Ronald McDonald Kinderhilfe (Details siehe Info-Kasten) mit dem innovativen Produkt ECOTURBINO in den nächsten fünf Jahren rund 35.000 Euro und 70 Tonnen CO2 eingespart.
(Vienna, 12.02.2020) This innovative technology was provided free of charge and installed in the existing Ronald McDonald children’s homes by the Rabmer Group. “Under the motto ‘Building a better world’, we regularly support charitable projects. We are pleased that now, thanks to our ECOTURBINOS, the Ronald McDonald Children’s Aid Houses will also be able to reduce their operating costs by around 35,000 euros over the next five years and thus have more money available for the renovation and further expansion of the houses. At the same time, this measure will reduce CO2 emissions by 70 tonnes over the same period and thus also make a significant contribution to climate protection,” explains Ulrike Rabmer-Koller, Managing Partner of the Rabmer Group.
Innovation from Upper Austria
Responsibility towards the environment
“We are financed exclusively by donations, and every euro goes directly to us. Ronald McDonald Kinderhilfe helps as many families as possible. Through new technologies such as ECOTURBINO, we are able to save costs and thus help even more children and their parents. By saving water, energy and CO2, Ronald McDonald Kinderhilfe also takes responsibility for the environment,” says Karin Schmidt, Chairman of Ronald McDonald Kinderhilfe Austria.
About Ronald McDonald Children’s Aid
In order to get better, seriously ill children need one thing above all: the closeness of their family. For more than 33 years, the Ronald McDonald Children’s Aid has been taking care of this heartfelt wish of the little patients. Every year, it offers around 1200 affected families a “temporary home” in the immediate vicinity of special and children’s hospitals in Vienna, Graz, Salzburg and Innsbruck for the duration of their children’s treatments. In the coming years, two more children’s aid houses are planned: in Salzburg directly on the LKH grounds and in Innsbruck directly opposite the Medical University. To make this possible, Ronald McDonald Children’s Aid depends on donations. Anyone who would like to support financially can transfer an amount to the Ronald McDonald Kinderhilfe donation account – or donate easily and securely online at www.kinderhilfe.at. Ronald McDonald Kinderhilfe was already awarded the Austrian seal of approval for donations in 2009. Since then, the award, which is valid for one year, has always been renewed. The donations are tax deductible.
