IOE2025 - Invitation to dialog

At the invitation of Gustav Gründler and his association VFE-Verein zur Förderung der Energieeffizienz, over 100 guests gathered at Burg Deutschlandsberg last Monday to discuss the current situation and future of the economy in Austria.

The guests were welcomed to the large event hall by Mayor Josef Wallner. This was followed by an opening statement by Styrian Minister of Economic Affairs MMag.(a) Barbara Eibinger-Miedl on the current situation and future of the economy in Styria, followed by keynote speeches by Dr. Bernd Hufnagl - neurobiologist - on evolution and the brain, Peter Brezinschek on the economy and financial markets, DI Karimi-Auer Land Stmk reported on the brand new energy and climate strategy of the province of Styria. Klaus Pichler, representing Rabmer, was able to report to the audience on current and future wastewater energy projects in Styria. During the subsequent networking in the beautiful wine cellar of the castle, these topics and more were discussed until late into the night and many topics were explored in greater depth.
