There was great interest in Rabmer GreenTech's "green" technologies at the Congress of the Austrian Hotel Industry in Vienna. Sustainability Minister Elisabeth Köstinger also visited the Rabmer stand.
This year, the congress of the Austrian Hotel Association (ÖHV) in the Vienna Hofburg focused on the topic of innovation. The Upper Austrian company Rabmer GreenTech - a subsidiary of the Rabmer Group - presented its water and energy efficiency technologies for the first time as an exhibitor. The ECOTURBINO®, which enables hotel businesses to save more than a third of the water and energy costs of showers, aroused particular interest.
ECOTURBINO® saves 36% on water and energy costs in hotels
The "small" ECOTURBINO® attracted a lot of attention at the Vienna Hofburg. With this turbine, which can also be easily retrofitted, hotels save around 36% on water and energy costs. The special feature of this innovative technology is that shower comfort is maintained. By adding air, the water jet feels just as strong as before - hotel guests don't notice any difference.
Rabmer has already equipped many student residences, spas and well-known hotels with the ECOTURBINO®, including the Eurotherme Bad Schallerbach, the Falkensteiner Group, the 5* Nixe Palace Hotel on Mallorca, the Boutiquehotel Stadthalle Vienna and Harry's Home in Linz.
In addition to the great financial savings potential, the ECOTURBINO® has another very positive effect: less energy consumption also means that less CO2 is released. The companies make a significant contribution to climate protection - the more than 20,000 ECOTURBINO® installed to date save around 340 million liters of drinking water and more than 4,300 tons ofCO2 every year.
Rabmer GreenTech convinces environment minister
The Rabmer GreenTech team was particularly proud of the visit by Environment Minister Elisabeth Köstinger to the exhibition stand. She informed herself about the various technologies and was naturally delighted that the environmental concept is also becoming increasingly important in the hotel industry.

Rabmer GreenTech is a partner for innovative and high-quality environmental technology from Austria: water and energy efficiency, water saving systems, corrosion and limescale protection for drinking and cooling water systems, water extraction and treatment, water loss analysis, energy from wastewater and exhaust air, pipe cleaning and inspection, manhole and tank rehabilitation, odor protection for sewer manholes. With around 100 employees, the company generates a turnover of approx. 15 million euros.
