Rabmer and Biosphere jointly promote sustainability in the international hotel industry

Biosphere, a leading sustainability management and certification system from the Responsible Tourism Institute (RTI), and the Rabmer Group, an Austrian construction and environmental technology company, have launched an innovative collaboration. This partnership aims to promote sustainable practices in the hotel industry worldwide.

Biosphere and Rabmer bring their expertise together to offer sustainable solutions to businesses. Biosphere is the only system that integrates the sustainability efforts of tourism organizations, businesses and consumers worldwide, based on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations. Rabmer offers innovative products and services in the areas of water, wastewater, energy efficiency and renewable energy. By leveraging synergies, significant progress will be made towards a more sustainable hotel industry worldwide. By combining their knowledge, the two organizations will help companies to improve their infrastructures and use environmental technologies for better water and energy management and to achieve cost savings.

The partnership promotes sustainable practices and training for companies that want to continuously improve their sustainability and contribute to achieving key SDGs, such as clean water and sanitation (SDG 6), industry, innovation and infrastructure (SDG 9), sustainable cities and communities (SDG 11), climate action (SDG 13) and partnerships to achieve the goals (SDG 17).
