Rabmer Group - A company with social & ecological responsibility!

As a family business based in Altenberg near Linz, we combine 60 years of company tradition, with innovation, regional roots and international success. Rabmer is a family business, not only because it is run by a family, but above all because a very “family-like togetherness” prevails in the company.

Since the Rabmer Bau Group is also known as a strong local partner, it is also natural for us to consolidate the local commitment with the residents and local networks since the beginning and of course to continue to expand in the future. In this way, we have always supported regional associations and initiatives.

The company’s commitment to our employees has been a fixed component since the company was founded. The above-average length of service of our team speaks for the good climate in our company. Many of our employees have been with us for more than 10, 20, 30 or 40 years – some of them even have children or grandchildren working for us.

We are constantly training new apprentices in various professions. Several of our managers started as apprentices. Therefore, we place special emphasis on apprenticeship training and the ongoing education of our employees. Thus, we encourage and support our employees to take advantage of training courses and further education on an ongoing basis. Here we also bear the course costs. A healthy working environment and occupational safety are of particular concern to us. Of course, we also support our older employees.

It is also important for us to achieve an optimal work-life balance. To this end, we offer part-time work, flexible working time models and home offices. Paternity leave is also a matter of course for us and has already been taken up by some employees.

In order to maintain the globally recognized quality and environmental standards, the company is regularly certified according to ISO 9001 and 14001. Other activities and projects are, for example, the Girls Day – where interested girls have the chance to get a taste of technology, or the Mama Papa Day, as well as the family festival – where the doors are opened for the children of our employees to promote family friendliness in the company.

Rabmer also does a lot for ecological sustainability: we rely on environmentally friendly building materials and packaging as well as regional partners and suppliers. Our truck trips are also planned to save fuel. The entire company site has been renovated to be energy-efficient, is lit with economical LEDs and is heated with waste wood from our own carpentry. The required electricity is generated by a photovoltaic system on the roofs and the vehicle fleet is gradually being converted to e-mobility. In addition, the building is buzzing: a flowering meadow for bees and insects has been sown on 15.000m2.
