As a family business based in Altenberg near Linz, we combine 60 years of company tradition with innovation, regional roots and international success. Rabmer is a family business, not only because it is run by a family, but above all because there is a very "family togetherness" in the company.
As the Rabmer Bau Group is also known as a strong local partner, it is also a matter of course for us to consolidate our local involvement with residents and local networks from the outset and, of course, to expand this further in the future. For example, we have always supported regional associations and initiatives.
The company's commitment to our employees has been an integral part of the company since it was founded. The above-average length of service of our team speaks for the good atmosphere in our company. Many of our employees have been with us for more than 10, 20, 30 or 40 years - some of them even have children or grandchildren working for us.
We are constantly training new apprentices in various professions. Several of our managers started out as apprentices. We therefore attach particular importance to apprentice training and the ongoing further training of our employees. We encourage and support our employees to take advantage of ongoing training and further education. We also cover the course costs. A healthy working environment and occupational safety are particularly important to us. It goes without saying that we also support our older employees.
It is also important for us to achieve an optimal work-life balance. To this end, we offer part-time work, flexible working time models and working from home. Paternity leave is also a matter of course for us and has already been taken up by some employees.
In order to maintain the globally recognized quality and environmental standards, the company is regularly certified according to ISO 9001 and 14001. Other activities and projects include, for example, Girls' Day - where interested girls have the chance to get a taste of technology every year, or Mom and Dad Day, as well as the Family Festival - where the doors are opened to the children of our employees to promote family friendliness within the company.
Rabmer also does a lot for ecological sustainability: we rely on environmentally friendly building materials and packaging as well as regional partners and suppliers. Our truck journeys are also planned to save fuel. The entire company site has been renovated to be energy-efficient, is lit with economical LEDs and heated with waste wood from our own carpentry workshop. The electricity required is generated by a photovoltaic system on the roofs and the vehicle fleet is gradually being converted to e-mobility. The area around the building is also buzzing: a flowering meadow for bees and insects has been sown over an area of 15,000 m2.
