We create 15,000m² of colorful habitat for bees
At Rabmer, we are actively committed to preserving local biodiversity. For this reason, there is also a buzz around our company building: a colorful, flowering habitat for beneficial insects and bees has been created on 15,000 m².
Bees are very important for our ecosystem. They pollinate plants, enable fruit and vegetables to grow and make a significant contribution to the diversity of nature. The loss of their natural habitats and the use of pesticides have taken a heavy toll on beneficial insects in recent years. It is therefore very important to restore natural habitats with lots of flowers and flowering shrubs. That's why we want to set a good example: "At Rabmer, we attach great importance to sustainability, our environment and nature. That is why we have converted a total of 15,000 m² of unused land around our company building in Altenberg near Linz into a bee meadow. This gives the beneficial insects plenty of protected space to fly from flower to flower," says Rabmer Managing Director Ulrike Rabmer-Koller.
