"The best damage is the damage that doesn't happen"

Rabmer part of the AssCompact Claims Symposium 2023 in Vösendorf

The best loss is the one that doesn't happen - this is the motto of the AssCompact Claims Symposium 2023, which will focus on loss prevention and efficient claims management. Following the successful premiere in 2022, this year's Claims Symposium will focus on sustainable strategies for preventive measures that help to avoid contract restructuring or even claim terminations. Secondly, the focus will be on professional claims management.

Klaus Pichler (Head of the GreenTech division at the Rabmer Group) got the symposium program off to a successful start with his presentation "Damage scenario for building pipe water insurance". He reported on his experience with corrosion and limescale in water pipes, the resulting consequences and prevention using low-cost, low-maintenance, environmentally friendly and rapidly deployable zinc sacrificial anode technology.

According to Pichler, damage to pipe and water pipe systems occurs for a variety of reasons. These often remain undetected for a long time, which not only causes high costs due to expensive repairs, but in the worst case also has a negative impact on the environment or results in the loss of important raw materials. With regard to insurance cover against such damage, the expert advised insurance brokers to take a proper inventory of the current situation.

In addition to the face-to-face event, the claims symposium will also be offered as an ONLINE format. The presentations will be broadcast as a live TV program on three consecutive days. The ONLINE event via AssCompact LiveTV will take place on
