Climate protection, shower comfort & cost reduction are no contradiction
The Naturhotel Forsthofgut(www.forsthofgut.at) in beautiful Leogang is a feel-good place for all seasons. Located directly on the ski slopes in winter and in the middle of the beautiful mountain landscape in summer, the hotel attracts guests with its great wellness offerings and delights them with its gourmet cuisine. High quality for the guest is the motto that runs through the entire hotel. The extra portion of comfort in the rooms and suites is a basic principle, and the test with the ECOTURBINO was viewed correspondingly critically by hotel director Christoph Schmuck, as the water consumption in the showers is reduced by around 30%. But the practical test together with a Rabmer sales representative on site convinced him immediately. "I was amazed that despite such a significant reduction in water consumption, showering comfort is still fully guaranteed. What's more, we can reduce our operating costs enormously, even in the off-season. I am particularly pleased that we are not only saving money, but also protecting the environment," says Christoph Schmuck.
Saving water, energy and costs
Around 220 Ecoturbinos are in use at the Naturhotel Forsthofgut, saving around 1.2 million liters of water and 50,000 kWh of energy per year, which translates into a cost reduction of around 7,500 euros. This means that the Ecoturbino pays for itself in the first year of purchase.
