The entire thermal spa and the adjoining hotel rely on the ECOTURBINO. The only water-saving system for showers where the shower jet and shower comfort remain the same is the new must-have for hotels.
The Johannesbad Therme in Bad Füssing is the perfect address for a vacation in Bavaria. In the outdoor area, the spa offers a spacious saltwater rock lagoon, a current channel, XXL whirlpools, as well as a swimmer's pool, counter-current pools and a Kneipp treading pool. The wave pool with healing water, the 39°C hyperthermal bath, the XXL air bubble bath and a large steam bath in the indoor area promise wellness at the highest level.
Maintaining high standards despite savings
In order to guarantee the aforementioned wellness feeling at the highest level, water-saving products naturally had to be viewed very critically. After extensive testing, the feedback was thoroughly convincing and there was no negative feedback whatsoever.
Savings in detail
A total of 464 rooms and 59 thermal showers were equipped with the ECOTURBINO water-saving system. This saves around 17,000 m³ of water, 630,000 kWh of energy and almost 200,000 kg ofCO2 every year. In the sanitary area, an incredible 17% of total water consumption is saved.

"In a spa, you naturally use a lot of water when showering, as spa guests have several treatments a day, use the spa extensively and shower accordingly often. Thanks to the complete equipment, we have made enormous savings on water and energy, which not only leads to a significant reduction in costs but also to a correspondingly sustainable use of water as a resource and the energy used to heat water," says Ernst Kaser, who is extremely satisfied.
