Energy from waste water: The climate fund will continue to support energy generation from the sewage system in 2022

Technologies for using energy from wastewater are economical, efficient and innovative solutions – and absolutely up to date. With the Energy from Wastewater program, the Climate and Energy Fund in Austria is again promoting the generation of thermal energy from wastewater this year. A budget of 500,000 euros is available for this, which comes from funds from the Ministry of Climate Protection (BMK). The Rabmer Group is happy to support interested parties as well as customers and partners with technical know-how and the necessary technology.

The aim of the funding program is, on the one hand, to commission feasibility studies for specific projects (with a maximum of 10,000 euros) and potential studies for entire sewer networks (with a maximum of 5,000 euros). On the other hand, investment projects for the recovery of thermal energy from the waste water for self-supply and the integration of the recovered energy in local and district heating networks with a capacity of up to one megawatt are funded. A total budget of 500,000 euros is available.

We are happy to help!
