Inspiring women for technology: Minister Susanne Raab in conversation with Rabmer

More women in technical professions - this is not only the goal of Rabmer Grupe, but also that of Susanne Raab, Minister for Women and Integration. We are therefore delighted that she visited us at the Altenberg site at the beginning of June to get to know our company, our measures and our construction technician Melissa and project manager Julian.

"The construction industry is no longer just a male preserve. To ensure that female specialists find their way into the construction industry, it is important to get them interested in technology as early as possible. This should already be awakened during their school education. However, taster days or internships are not enough. Companies should also play their part: this is why we take part in Girls Day every year and now organize a children's construction day for several municipalities, where children can dig, drill, lay bricks and discover our building yard. The main aim is to break down prejudices against technical professions and to attract the next generation to the construction sector," says Rabmer Managing Director Ulrike Rabmer-Koller.
