Julius Raab Medal for Ulrike Rabmer-Koller

Highest award of the Austrian Business Federation for special commitment to the economy

The Julius Raab Medal of Honor is the highest award of the Austrian Business Federation and is awarded for special commitment to business and society. It was established in 1951 to mark the 60th birthday of the Wirtschaftsbund's founder and Federal Chancellor Julius Raab.

In the festive setting of the Spiegelsaal in the Redoutensäle in Linz, the Julius Raab Medal of Honor was awarded to three deserving functionaries from the Wirtschaftsbund OÖ family: Former Vice President KommR Ulrike Rabmer-Koller, former Member of Parliament KommR Gabriele Lackner-Strauß and former Member of Parliament KommR Alfred Frauscher.

"It is an honor for us as a business association to award the Julius Raab Medal of Honor to three deserving entrepreneurs and officials. They are not only successful as entrepreneurs, but have also put all their energy into various functions for Upper Austria as a business location. We are grateful for this," said President Doris Hummer, Chairwoman of the Upper Austrian Business Association.
