The young carpenter Lukas Kaiser, who is in training at Altenberger R & R Holzbau GesmbH, a member of the Rabmer Group, took third place at the Federal apprenticeship competition in Großgmain. He is one of the best up-and-coming carpenters in Austria, who had to prove their professional skills in the competition with high demands.
In eight working hours, the construction of a complicated wooden roof model had to be torn open, removed, torn, worked out and assembled. It was a roof truss with two sloping verges, a falling ridge purlin, and rafters with piled-up skiffs. Above all, the judges, under the direction of Federal apprentice attendant Johann Langeder, assessed the cleanliness and traceability of the preparation, cutting, post-processing, assembly and overall impression.
Of course, Gottfried Riener, Managing Director and Co-Partner of R & R Holzbau GmbH, was also particularly proud: “Our young carpenter Lukas Kaiser once again demonstrated his abilities at the Federal apprenticeship competition. He has already completed his carpentry with honors and took 4th place in the Landeslehrlingswettbewerb. I am really very proud of him and I am pleased that we have such excellent professionals in our company! ”

Again this year, 3 apprentices start their vocational training with us. ”
R & R Holzbau GmbH was founded in 2000 by Altenberger master carpenter Gottfried Riener together with the Rabmer Group and is active in the field of timber construction and carpentry.
