Rabmer expands product range - Primus Line® moves in

We have recently started using the Primus Line® system for our trenchless pipe rehabilitation. This highly efficient product is used for the rehabilitation of pressure pipes.

News in Rabmer pipe rehabilitation technology

Primus Line® is a tried-and-tested piping system for the trenchless rehabilitation of pressure pipelines for various media (water, gas, oil). The Primus Line® system, consisting of a flexible high-pressure hose and a specially developed connection technology, is used as a trenchless rehabilitation method.

Functionality and know-how

The system is supplied with up to 6,000m in one piece on a transport drum and up to 2,500 meters can be pulled in in one piece. Thanks to its multi-layer structure and very thin wall thickness, the Primus Line hose offers both flexibility and extremely high material strength. Primus Line® is produced in nominal widths from DN 150 to DN 500. The hose is pulled into old pipes via small excavation pits, which means that there is no need to break up or excavate large areas of road.

Primus Line® is not bonded to the old pipe and is self-supporting. An annular space remains between the old pipe and Primus Line®. At the ends, the Primus Line hose is connected to the existing pipes (steel, cast iron, PE or other materials) and thus to the pipe network using specially developed high-pressure connectors.

The advantages

Primus Line® impresses with its short rehabilitation times and fast recommissioning and, due to the resulting savings potential, is not only a cost-effective alternative to open rehabilitation, but also a high-quality method for renewing pressure pipes.
