This year, for the eleventh time, BezirksRundschau presented awards to companies, organizations and private individuals who are committed to creating value in the region and thus to maintaining the quality of life in Upper Austria. The winners were chosen at a ceremony at Steyregg Castle on September 14 - in the "Mobility and Renewable Energy" category, the Rabmer Group impressed with its strong regional roots and innovative and sustainable technologies, such as energy from waste water and exhaust air.
Innovation, tradition and sustainability
Rabmer has been combining innovation and tradition with sustainability for 58 years. Since then, Rabmer has been a pioneer in Austria in the environmentally friendly heating and cooling of buildings and the resource-saving use of water. In addition, the company uses environmentally friendly building materials and works closely with regional partners and suppliers. This keeps supply chains short and minimizes the associated CO2 emissions. "During the corona crisis and the associated supply difficulties with foreign products, we were always able to rely on our partners from the region and thus complete our construction sites without delays or standstills," says Managing Director Ulrike Rabmer-Koller. As a strong employer in the region, Rabmer has already trained more than 100 young people in a wide variety of apprenticeships. "Motivated and hard-working tradespeople are more in demand than ever, which is why we train our skilled workers of tomorrow ourselves in the professions of carpenter, structural engineer, civil engineer, agricultural and construction machinery technician and construction technician. In addition, our employees benefit from construction sites in the surrounding area without long journeys or an office "in the countryside".
