Sebastian Kurz Visits the Rabmer Group

Under the motto “Careers Through Apprenticeships,” we have already trained over 80 apprentices at Rabmer, many of whom now hold leadership positions. Just how important a forward-looking and solid education is to us was once again made clear this week in a conversation with former Federal Chancellor Sebastian Kurz in front of a large audience.

At the invitation of our CEO, Mag. Rabmer-Koller, former Federal Chancellor Sebastian Kurz visited our company this week. We took this opportunity not only to introduce our company and its areas of operation, but also to discuss our “passion project”—apprenticeship training—with him, our apprentices, and local training partner companies. We were overwhelmed by the enthusiastic response from our guests, who wanted to take this chance to meet Sebastian Kurz in person.

Apprenticeship training is also a key factor in our company’s success—after all, we’ve already trained more than 80 apprentices. This allows us to cultivate a new generation of highly skilled professionals while also offering dedicated young people from the local community a secure job in a family-owned business, excellent opportunities for growth, and a bright future. We actively live by the slogan “A CAREER THROUGH AN APPRENTICESHIP,” as many of Rabmer’s managers started out as apprentices at the company.

Sebastian Kurz took plenty of time to address all questions and suggestions, and he also emphasized the enormous importance of apprenticeship training for Austria and its international recognition. Many countries envy us for this successful model of skilled-worker training.
