State Councillor for the Environment Kaineder visits Rabmer

Against the backdrop of the current challenges of the climate and energy crisis, Stefan Kaineder, Provincial Councillor for the Environment and Climate, visited the Rabmer Group in Altenberg near Linz. The long-established family business, led by Ulrike Rabmer-Koller, is known for its broad portfolio and used the visit by Provincial Councillor Kaineder to introduce him to the environmental technology division. Here, the Rabmer Group focuses primarily on water and energy efficiency, waste water and renewable energies.

Innovative solutions for generating sustainable and renewable energy from wastewater - for heating and cooling buildings, for example - require a great deal of technical expertise and individual concepts. Ulrike Rabmer-Koller explained the Rabmer Group's approach using various showpieces and a sewer model in which a heat exchanger was installed.

"The current energy crisis presents us as a society with huge challenges. Conserving resources and using them efficiently is more important than ever right now. With its innovative strength in the field of environmental technology, the Rabmer Group is making an important contribution to environmental and climate protection," says Stefan Kaineder, Provincial Councillor for the Environment and Climate, who also points out the great potential of energy generation from wastewater.

"As a medium-sized family business, we have been combining tradition with innovation for 60 years. Sustainability is firmly anchored in our company DNA and, as a Climate Alliance company and holder of the Federal Ecolabel, we focus on sustainability in all areas of the company. We recognized the enormous potential of innovative environmental technology very early on and - in addition to our regional construction division - we have specialized in renewable energy as well as water and energy efficiency. Here we offer a range of products and processes that make a significant contribution to achieving climate targets," says Managing Director Ulrike Rabmer-Koller.
